Satellite Proximity Operations
The purpose of the Satellite Proximity Operations simulator was to create a satellite maneuvering simulation to familiarize students with satellite behavior.
Summary
The Air Force Academy tasked students to build a satellite maneuvering simulation, using Unreal Engine 4 and a orbit/gravity plugin to simulate Kepler physics, the Wright-Scholars created a simple satellite simulation scenario where trainees were able to practice docking maneuvers; scores are tracked in a leaderboard. This project was created in 2021.

Outcomes and Additional Information
The client tasked the students with creating a training simulation that included a multiplayer gameplay with a realistic environment and that reflects unintuitive movement.
The virtual environment included a tutorial to dock the satellites and practice movement in the virtual space.
