AR SLATE Pod
This modified P5 pod mounts on the wing of USAF Gen 3 and 4 Aircraft and provide data on the network into the cockpit as readouts that would be interacted with naturally by the pilot.

Summary
The GRILL® made an augmented reality (AR) demo for the AFRL Secure Live Virtual Constructive, Advanced Training Environment (SLATE) Pod hardware. The AR application provided information about the 3D printed pod, creating an interactive demonstration at the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC).

SLATE Pods support USAF collaborative combat aircraft training exercises around the world.
The 3D printed SLATE Pod showcased how a virtual environment (AR) can augment a physical object with informative text and graphical information in real time.
